At DW Electrical, competence, safety, and compliance are taken seriously.
All electrical work is carried out by fully qualified electricians holding the AM2S, demonstrating full occupational competence. Apprentices working alongside us are supervised at all times and are actively working towards achieving the same qualification through recognised training routes.
We ensure that every installation, inspection, and repair is completed safely, correctly, and in line with current UK electrical regulations.
All electricians working for DW Electrical hold the AM2S, confirming they have demonstrated practical competence across a wide range of electrical installation tasks.
We are trained to the current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and apply these standards to all work, whether it is a small domestic repair or a larger commercial installation.
By ensuring our electricians are fully qualified and properly trained, we provide our customers with confidence that all work is completed to a recognised industry standard.
Apprentices play an important role within DW Electrical and are trained to industry standards through recognised apprenticeship schemes. All apprentices are supervised by fully qualified AM2S electricians and only carry out work appropriate to their level of training.
This approach allows us to maintain high standards while also investing in the next generation of skilled electricians. Ongoing training ensures that both qualified electricians and apprentices remain up to date with changes to regulations, technology, and best practices.
DW Electrical operates with safety as a priority on every job. Safe isolation procedures are followed at all times, and installations are tested before and after completion to confirm they are safe and functioning correctly.
We hold Public Liability Insurance for your peace of mind, and copies of insurance documentation can be provided upon request.
Where required, we issue the correct electrical certification, including Electrical Installation Certificates (EIC), Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificates, and Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR). All certification is completed clearly and provided promptly for your records.
All electrical work carried out by DW Electrical complies with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and relevant UK electrical safety requirements.
We ensure that appropriate protective devices, such as RCDs or RCBOs, are installed where required and that installations are designed with safety, reliability, and future use in mind.
Our commitment to working to current standards ensures that customers across Hull and the East Riding receive electrical installations that are safe, compliant, and built to last.
